BLUE VALLEY CAPS

Dr. Fry, a teacher, trainer and presenter in private and public educational settings including middle school, high school, and community college, is the Lead Instructor of the CAPS Teacher Education Program, (Center for Advanced Professional Studies), in the Blue Valley district in Overland Park, KS.  She is also an adjunct professor for Kansas State University and MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Prior to her position with the Center for Advanced Professional Studies, Dr. Fry was the Technology Integration Specialist at Blue Valley Northwest HS, assisting teachers with integrating technology into their curriculum. Her experience in the area of cutting-edge technologies and as a middle and high school English language arts instructor have shaped her into a leader in her district and beyond in the area of educational technology. Professionally, she has presented at NECC, CoSN, MACE, FETC, among others, and has served in the past as a volunteer with CoSN and as a session proposal evaluator for FETC and AACE Conferences.  She is a co-founder of The Council on the Future of Education, and is a published author.

Dr. Fry has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Educational Technology from the University of Kansas.  She also received her Instructional Design certification from the University of Kansas and holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from Pittsburg State University.
